John Flanigan, of Washington, DC, has been chosen as Zerin Business Consulting’s Mentor of the Month for February 2015!
IMG_5671Mr. Flanigan was nominated for this honor because of his extraordinary leadership ability and performance reliability.  John not only executes his duties efficiently, but also routinely takes the initiative to help others succeed by providing his training and trouble-shooting skills.  Mr. Flanigan was hired for an entry level position in October 2014 and excelled quickly to his first promotion in record time.  “In addition to his ‘can do’ attitude, collaborative nature and reliability, one of the attributes that most distinguishes John is his quest for self-improvement and growth,”  said President Mark Hoge in regard to John’s nomination.
Mr. Flanigan is originally from Nevada City, California.  He attended the University of Vermont and graduated with a Bachelors in Business Administration in International Business and Finance.  He continued on to receive his masters in Finance from the Harvard Extension School.  While in school, John won a Business Plan Pitch competition in Qingdao, China and was accepted into the Entrepreneurship Club where he took first place for the best new business plan and pitch.  He was actively involved  as the Vice President and Operations Chair in his fraternity, Alpha Gamma Rho.  John was a leading officer and speaker in Toastmasters and was also a member of the Investment Club and Explorers Club.  In his free time he enjoys skiing, music and spending time with friends.
